Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the Western Balkans. The goal of the KEY project is to strengthen the role of higher education institutions for educator education in the system of professional development of educators in Serbia and Montenegro. At the same time, this broader goal creates a basis for higher education institutions to have an impact on the creation and promotion of various forms of professional development of educators within local communities. In this regard, the project addresses the existing shortcomings of the in-service training system identified between educational outcomes and the needs that arise in practice in preschools, while at the same time giving importance to local governments in planning and supporting various forms of in-service training, using existing EU funds.
